We hear from Hythe that on Tuesday, the 1st of August, there will be held a florists feast at Mr. Tho. Penney`s at the White Horse Tavern in Folkestone, where will be a plentiful entertainment for dinner, and he that produces the largest and best blown carnation flower is to carry off a prize of a silver punch ladle; he who brings the second best flower a china bowl; and no flower is to be shown at the said feast less than four inches under next the stem.
