Major, J. Kelcey and G. Kennicott esqrs. William Henry Swain, licensed victualler, was charged by Sergeant Fleet with keeping his house open at improper hours. The constable went to defendant`s house, the Pilot Boat, about 2 o`clock on Sunday morning last, and found some men standing smoking, and several glasses of beer on the table. They were all Folkestone men, and the landlord was present. Fined 1s and 8s 6d costs. | |||
