3rd July, 2015: Folkestone Herald Results from 1986 Added.

I will be taking a short break now while I gather a lot more research material - mostly pre-1850. It all takes time and then has to be read through and articles transcribed. All I can say for now is that patience will pay off, because a previously unknown Folkestone pub will appear in the police reports in the mid 1850s. Who knows what other gems may be unearthed? For sure, the licensee lists will be amended. Anyway, posting will be resumed at the beginning of September.
