We hear from Hythe that on Tuesday, the 1^st of August, there will be held a florists feast at Mr. Tho. Penney`s at the White Horse Tavern in Folkestone, where will be a plentiful entertainment for dinner, and he that produces the largest and best blown carnation flower is to carry off a prize of a silver punch ladle; he who brings the second best flower a china bowl; and no flower is to be shown at the said feast less than four inches under next the stem.

At Edward Huey`s, at the White Horse in Folkestone, on Monday se`ennight, the 12^th of this instant February, between the Gentlemen of Folkestone and the Gentlemen of the Country, for two Guineas a battle, and five the odd. There will be a good ordinary on the table at twelve o`clock, and a close pit.

To fight the match off between two and six.
