Advertisement: Notice is hereby given that the Annual Meeting of the Members of the Union Society, at Folkestone, will be held at the house of Mr. Thomas Marks, the sign of the Red Lion, in Folkestone, on Monday next, the 11th of July.

Dinner on the table at one o`clock.

A sermon will be preached in the forenoon by the Rev. Mr. Tims.

Note: This gives an earlier date for Thomas Marks

Notice: The Annual Meeting of the Union Society at Folkestone, being Monday next, the 11th instant, the non-resident members are requested to attend as something is intended to be proposed of the utmost consequence to the said Society.

Note: Likely to be a mistaken address. Should be Dover Street.

Before John Castle (Mayor), Thomas Baker, John Stredwick, and Joseph Milton.

William Moon appeared and prayed to have the licence granted to William Palmer at the Pack Horse (Red Lyon deleted) assigned over to him, which was granted on his entering into a recognisance with two sureties pursuant to the late Act of Parliament, when he proposed William Palmer and George Boxer, who were accepted.
