Unknown Premises 1900s
Folkestone Herald
16-2-1901
Wednesday, February 13th: Before Messrs. Fitness,
Wightwick, Herbert, and Swoffer, and Lieut. Col. Hamilton.
Jack Parks was summoned for having left a horse and cart
unattended.
Evidence was given to show that the horse was left outside
the Crown Hotel, Radnor Street, from 8.45 a.m. until 9.20 on the 8th
inst., and a fine of 10s. and 9s. costs was ordered.
Note: A mystery. No house by this
name is known, and the street directory for 1901 has no entry. Of course, even
if this hotel existed, it may not necessarily have been licensed.
